Directions (not well marked, very small signs): Take Exit 2 for N. Pleasant View Rd. Left onto W Railroad Ave. Drive for .5 miles. 2nd Right onto N Corbin Rd. Drive for .2 miles (not well marked). Stay on N Corbin Rd. which turns into S Corbin Rd. for .3 miles to entrance gate to the park. If you take first left .2 miles after gate you will go directly to white water put-in.

Points of Interest: Disc Golf Course very popular.

Whitewater: Whitewater area located east end of the loop. East of ball field and restrooms. 10-15 unmarked parking spaces. Put-in located at dead end of gravel/grass road used for big rafts. No tables or benches but can sit on large rocks over looking the white water area. Not ADA accessible.

Trail Connection: Located on N. Corbin Rd. connection to Centennial trail/Rail Road Trail.

Swimming: Swim at your own risk. Very dangerous due to strong undertow & strong current all year round.

Shoreline Fishing: ADA trail to river starts between restrooms and boat launch and goes all the way to the river.
For shoreline fishing, beware of hazardous wading conditions due to the slickness of the river bed.

Boat Launch: Located by ball field and restrooms. Please do not park in front of launch. Paved but can be covered by high water levels.

Kiosk: Map of disc golf course. Located above ball field. River trail sign.

Picnic Area: 3 tables w/bbq by boat launch. 8 tables w/fire pits on road above launch.

Restrooms: Full restroom closed during winter. ADA accessible. Surveillance cameras. Porta potty available during winter.

General: DIRECTIONS: Take the Sullivan Road (Valley Mall exit). Turn left and head north towards the river. The park will be clearly marked at the first stop light after the bridge. It will be on your left.

Kiosk: Informational signs on park ordinances.

Pet-Friendly: Not a pet park. Dogs must be on leash and cleaned up after. You can be penalized up to $76 if you violate the pet ordinances.

Loading Zone: No unloading zone. Unload in the parking area and pack kayaks to the river.

Directions: Opened June, 2014.

Supports drift boat, paddler and rafting enthusiasts. For whitewater play kayakers, there is excellent access to Dead Dog Hole at Stateline Bridge. After spring runoff that extends to late June, popular put-in for inexperienced raft and paddle users.

Trail Connection: Direct access to Centennial Trail available.

Shoreline Fishing: For shoreline fishing, beware of hazardous wading conditions due to the slickness of the river bed.

Boat Launch: Non-motorized only.

Restrooms: At dog park, across Appleway Ave. Open seasonally.

Hours of Operation: Daylight Hours

General: No picnic, tents, shelter, fire, alcohol. For anglers, this area is part of the river reach from Stateline to Upriver Dam that is catch and release only. Downstream, the county permits motorized boating from Coyote Rocks to Upriver Dam.

Directions: From Argonne Road to the West or E Wellesley by Plantes Ferry to the East, take Upriver Drive. Trailhead parking is visible on the Spokane River side of Upriver Drive. An access road from parking area connects to water trail access and Centennial Trail.

Points of Interest: This is a downstream take out for drift boats, rafts and paddlers. Great put-in for kayaks, SUPs and canoes looking for 4.5 mile flat water float down to Boulder Beach.

Trail Connection: This is also a Centennial Trail trailhead. The Centennial Trail crosses the Denny Ashlock pedestrian bridge just downstream of the access.

Swimming: Swim at your own risk.

Boat Launch: Slide supports put in and take out. Drift boats and rafts being winched to trailer require extra rope or line to accommodate distance. Angle of repose on slide allows for extra line to be removed before connection to trailer. Trailer parking available in parking lot above.

Directions: From Idaho take Liberty Lake Otis Orchard exit. From Washington take Harvard Rd. exit.

Points of Interest: Great put-in for kayaks.

Trail Connection: Trail connects both sides of bridge. South of bridge, Harvard Rd. Trail Head Park, connection to Centennial Trail.

Swimming: Swim at your own risk (lots of people do swim in summer but no lifeguard).

View Points & Wildlife: View points on both sides of bridge. South of bridge, Harvard Rd. Trail Head Park, connection to centennial trail.

Possible bird watching.

Boat Launch: Well designated when water is low with large boulders. When water is high put-in at southeast corner.

Launch is located north of bridge. NOT marked and NO signs. Very hard to find! Heading north once you cross the bridge it will be your very first left onto a small gravel road that is parallel with the bridge down toward the river. If you pass E. Euclid Ave you have gone too far.

Kiosk: Kiosk of River Forum and State Park & Boat Ordinances. Signs for catch and release only.

Picnic Area: Area north of bridge along river to bring blanket and sit by the river.

Restrooms: Pit toilet located in parking area south of bridge.

Parking Notes: South and north of bridge have several parking spaces. Handicap parking available in parking area south of bridge known as the Harvard Rd. Trail Head Park.

Hours of Operation: Dawn to dusk

General: Camp Sekani located across the street with bike, hiking, dirt bike, and archery trails.

Scuba diving lessons are held at this park in the summer.

Trail Connection: The Centennial Trail connects directly to the parking lot. The trail is paved and ADA accessible.

Shoreline Fishing: Fish advisory signs posted. For shoreline fishing, beware of hazardous wading conditions due to the slickness of the river bed.

View Points & Wildlife: Great osprey viewing. Along parking and Centennial Trail, views of the river.

Boat Launch: You must carry your canoe, kayak, or raft from the parking up above down to the river.

Kiosk: Information signs of Centennial Trail rules and map.

Picnic Area: There is a beach area with trash cans. Very busy in summer time, please clean up after yourself. Benches along parking with views of the river.

Restrooms: Please be aware there are no restrooms or porta-potties available at this site.

Parking Notes: Off road parking available further east of the Boulder Beach parking area. It also offers a put in trail that is much shorter distance to the river then at Boulder Beach.

Hours of Operation: 6:30am to Dusk all year.

General: Directions: Take Barker Road exit off of I-90 (Exit after Sullivan – Valley Mall exit). Turn left and head north towards the river. Parking on the bridge (east side) allowed. Parking area is also located on the south side of the river, right before the bridge.

Not well marked so look for the very big open parking lot to your right directly before the bridge.

Trail Connection: Connection to the Centennial Trail is via parking lot on south side of bridge, located behind restroom. The trail is paved and ADA accessible.

Swimming: Swim at your own risk (lots of people do swim in summer but no lifeguard).

Shoreline Fishing: Catch and release only. For shoreline fishing, beware of hazardous wading conditions due to the slickness of the river bed.

Restrooms: South side pit toilet. ADA accessible. No running water.

Hours of Operation: Daylight Hours

Seasonal Water Flow: Upriver Dam is a run-of-river project, meaning release of water past the dam generally follows seasonal flows. Particularly in spring, flows are high and water temperature very cold. While summer flows are generally low and water temperature warmer, always know river flows and conditions.

Directions: This is an informal trailhead adjacent to East Upriver Drive and river right just downstream of Upriver Dam. From the bollards, follow the road to the river area. Upriver Dam is owned and operated by the City of Spokane.

Trail Connection: Direct access to Centennial Trail available.

Boat Launch: Informal. Non-motorized only.

Picnic Area: Open space available but no picnic tables.

Restrooms: No restrooms.

Parking: 5-7

Parking Notes: More street parking available.

Pet-Friendly: Dogs allowed on leash, please cleanup after.

Loading Zone: If parking is full, unloading available on road shoulder.

River Mile: 76.75

Hours of Operation: 6am – dusk

Directions: Upriver Park is a linear park extending from Mission Avenue to North Center Street. The Centennial Trail runs through the park. Parking is accessible by turning East on East Indiana Avenue from North Perry Street and following the road to North Center Street.

Trail Connection: Located on Centennial Trail at Archway.

Swimming: Swim at your own risk. Dangerous during months and periods when river flows are high and/or the water is cold.

Shoreline Fishing: Rainbow and brown trout. See <a href=”https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/regulations” target=”_blank”>WDFW fishing pamphlet</a> for regulations. Before consuming fish, consult the <a href=”https://spokaneriver.net/outreach-resources/spokane-river-public-guide/fish-consumption-advisory-cleanup/” target=”_blank”>Washington Department of Health’s Fish Advisory</a>.

General: This take out area is located along the Centennial trail where there are several Condos over looking the river. It is after mile 22 on the Centennial Trail. If you follow the bend after the bridge and when it straightens out there will be a sandy area cut into the river bank. It is in between two small stumps and beyond the sandy area is a grassy area.

Off of Spokane Falls Blvd take a left on Pine Street at the WSU/EWU Campus sign. Follow the road until you reach the Riverpoint One N 50K Met Life building’s parking lot. Park east of the building and fallow the Centennial Trail east till you reach the put in/take out area.

Trail Connection: Directly connected to the Centennial Trail near the WSU campus.

View Points & Wildlife: Great views of the Spokane River.

Kiosk: Located along the Centennial Trail.

Restrooms: No restrooms.

Parking: >20

Parking Notes: You will need a Yellow #1 parking pass. Please purchase from the WSU Bookstore. You will get ticketed if you do not have the proper pass.

Parking Notes: Convention Center garage, which you get to via entrance to Double Tree Hotel. On the second floor, there’s a door on the river/centennial trail side that takes you to the access. There are also a number of outdoor downtown parking locations.

Loading Zone: Drop off: West side of the Marriott Hotel parking area. From parking lot, it’s about 10 yards to access point. There is also a turnabout you can get to from convention center parking garage entrance.

Season: Gate closed in winter. Open March til September.

River Mile: 69.7

Hours of Operation: 8am to dusk

General: To launch craft, follow gravel trail located between parking and gate beyond large boulders. Please be aware of the trees with low branches located at the put in area.

Riverside Street Park is located down the road with more parking, however a Discover Pass is required.

Not ADA accessible.

Trail Connection: Trail leads under bridge to overflow parking.

View Points & Wildlife: Views of Centennial Trail across the river and wildlife.

Directions: Great, little used area between 7-mile Road and Rifle Club road. Close to the river, large area for throwing a frisbee.

Picnic Area: 4 tables throughout area.

Restrooms: There is a pit toilet near the parking area.

Trail Connection: Redband Park extends down Water Street and includes walking paths and benches.

River Mile: 72.5

Hours of Operation: 6:30 to Dusk

Seasonal Water Flow: Fast, cold Class II and III rapids in spring with water flows exceeding 20,000 CFS. Very low water flows in the summer with CFS below 1,000.

General: Water flows vary dramatically from season to season. See rafting and paddling water trail sections for flow and safety details. People’s park is also a popular destination for people and pets, and includes connectivity to the city’s 3.5 mile loop trail.

Directions: Directions: This access is on City of Spokane property just above Sandifur Bridge. From the parking area, there are steps leading to the river next to the kiosk. This is a popular location for tubers and personal rafts to put in, then take out at TJ Meenach. Flows Adventures runs a tubing and shuttle service during the summer.

Trail Connection: This is part of the city’s 3.5 mile loop trail. Pedestrians can walk, bike or run from or to this location. Going clockwise as you face the river, this includes crossing Sandifur Bridge, following a trail up the hill to Kendall Yards, taking city streets that connect to Huntington Park and Redband Park, and using the pedestrian trail through Peaceful Valley.

Boat Launch: Non-motorized only for paddlers, tubers and personal floatation devices.

Restrooms: Porta Potties may be seasonally available here, Redband Park and TJ Meenach.

Directions: Directions: This access is on City of Spokane property, bordering the downstream side of the City’s Riverside Park Water Reclamation Facility. Road access from Aubrey White Parkway. The access was restored in 2016.
There is limited parking with trailer turnaround below. Additional parking across from treatment plant at designated location alongside road.
From water, take out is river right just below treatment plant digester and iron utility bridge.

Boat Launch: Non-motorized only for drift boats, rafts and paddlers.

Restrooms: About 1 mile downstream at Riverside State Park.

Parking: < 5

Parking Notes: There is limited parking with trailer turnaround below. Additional parking across from treatment plant at designated location alongside road.
